FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, THE ORACLE FROM THE Minister of State. Speaks on 774,000 Jobs

PRESS RELEASE BY THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF STATE, LABOUR AND EMPLOYMENT, MR. FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, FCIArb (UK)- JUNE 30, 2020 PURPORTED SUSPENSION OF SELECTION PROCESS OF 774,000 JOBS BY NATIONAL ASSEMBLY COMMITTEES: ALL STATES’ SELECTION COMMITTEES SHOULD PROCEEED WITH THEIR WORK UNHINDERED. Today, in obedience to their invitation, I appeared before the Joint Committees on Labour of both the Senate and the House. The Distinguished Senators and Honourable Members sought to be briefed on the implementation of the Special Public Works Programme so far. However, there was a misunderstanding between us when they questioned why I did not privately submit the program to them for vetting before taking certain steps. They suggested that they ought to have an input on how the programme should be implemented. In other words, they sought to control the programme as to who gets what, where and how. However, I insisted that I could not surrender the programme to their control since their powers under the constitution does not extend to that. They insisted on a closed door session. At this point, I remarked that it was only fair for me to respond to their position before the press, since their own position was also made public. In any case, I remarked that the Nigerian people deserve to know the details of the execution of this all-important programme. I was then asked to apologize for insisting on a public interaction and I said there was nothing to apologize about, because their powers to expose corruption provided for in section 88 of the Constitution cannot be exercised in private. As such, there was no need to apologize by insisting on a Constitutional provision. Even their Rules that may provide for private hearings on public matters cannot override the provisions of the Constitution. I was then permitted to leave. I took a bow and left. I NEVER walked out on the respected Committees as they may want to bend the narrative. After I left, I understand that the Joint Committees purportedly suspended the work of the Selection Committees nationwide until they decide how the programme should be run and who should be in those Committees. My opinion is that it is tantamount to challenging the powers of Mr. President. I regret to say that their powers under section 88 of the 1999 Constitution is only limited to investigations, but NOT TO GIVE ANY DIRECTIVE TO THE EXECUTIVE. A Committee or Committees of both Houses do not even have powers to pass binding Resolutions. They can only make recommendations to Plenary. In this case, even Plenary CANNOT give DIRECTIVES to the Executive. All my life, I have fought for good governance and constitutional democracy. I will not come into government and be intimidated to abandon those principles. I will rather leave this assignment, if Mr. President so directs than compromise the jobs meant for ordinary Nigerians who have no Godfathers or who are not affiliated to any political party. I therefore, respectfully further direct all the Committees set up nationwide made up of CAN, NSCIA, NURTW, Market Women, CSOS, Youth Organisations, respected traditional rulers, etc to proceed with their work unhindered. Only Mr. President can stop their work. Thank you. FESTUS KEYAMO, SAN, FCIArb(UK) Hon. Minister of State.

National Assemble Member Make's Move On N-power Batch A And Batch B.

NASS has wielded into the disengagement plan by FG to exit batches A and B NPower volunteers. The move became necessary following the out cry of the volunteers requesting FG to give them a permanent jobs.

The leadership of the NASS will meet president Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday night and also the minister of FMHASD to appear before its adhoc committee on social investment program and social security to intimate the law makers on the plan the ministry have for the npower volunteers.

The source stated that the minister of finance has also been invited to appear before the law makers on thursday 2nd July to explain to plans the government has for it's teaming youths.
Some law makers stated that the move to intervene became absolutely necessary because npower serves as a means of livelihood for almost 85% of the beneficiaries. And many npower volunteers are married with children with many siblings and relatives to carter for and therefore depend so much on the monthly stipends of 30,000 for their survival.

The law makers are making move to get the attention of Mr president to re-consider his stand on sacking the beneficiaries rather attach them to various MDAs of FG and the States.
The law makers have also invited the chairman of Governors forum, his Excellency Dr. Kayode Fayemi to also brief the Senate on Thursday this week and house of representatives on Tuesday next week on way forward.
The beneficiaries have been crying without any one to console them. It was also reported that a beneficiary from Ibadan committed suicide on hearing the news last week. The NASS noted that many will still commit suicide considering the economic challenges coused by COVID 19 pandemic. The law makers stated that this is not the right time to disengage any worker.

The law makers stated that it will not tell good about APC led FGN. Off loading more than 500,000 young Nigerians into unknown world poses great danger to the nation especially at this point that unemployment in the country is so higher.

Law makers are of the opinion that there is no point asking the existing ones to leave instead the government should forget about batch C and maintain the existing ones.

DR TUNDE OSINOWO NEXT LEADER TO REPRESENT LAGOS EAST AT THE RED CHAMBER.

DR TUNDE OSINOWO TO REPRESENT LAGOS EAST AT THE RED CHAMBER.

Peharps I should quickly quote the words of AP Gianini(1870_1949)
I leave everything to the young men,you ve got to give youthful men authority and responsibility if you are going to build up a strong country  otherwise nothing will be left behind....

The youths are the leaders of tommorrow they say, this saying I have know since infancy and I have been wondering if that's true in it's real sense.

It might be true but I find my mind to be more comfortable with saying it the other way round. The youths are the leaders of NOW.

However it may be wheather the leaders of today or tomorrow, all that matters is the difference from yesterday.

The time has come for us to mark the eve of the long awaited tomorrow for the youths to realize their position of leadership in the Nigerian society.

Different Generations have come and passed but upon the present lies a greater expectation.
Who the cap fits let him wear it.

The call is now ,let the youth be allowed to participate again at all level of governance, just to mention a few ,
General Yakubu Gowon was 31years old when he took over the reign of power as Nigeria head of state in 1966.
General Murtala Muhammed was 37years old when he ruled.
General Obasanjo during his first Military rule was 39years old Professor Pat Utomi and others were very young when they served our country and they all left their indelible Marks on the sand of time.
 _
DR TUNDE OSINOWO
LEADER OF NOW_

He needs to be given a chance as a vibrant youth to exhibit his prowess to be the next Senator to represent Lagos state East SENATORIAL district at the red Chamber in Abuja not only as a compensation for all Senator Bayo Osinowo has done and contributed to the development of democracy in Nigeria but also to give the Nigerian teeming youths a voice.

Let's make the saying to be more obvious enough that the youths are the leaders of now.

Inter-State Movement has Been Put on hold

The Federal Government has extended the Phase Two of the eased lockdown by four weeks, but partially lifted the ban on interstate movement. Chairman of the Presidential Taskforce PTF on Covid-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation SGF, Mr. Boss Mustapha disclosed this at a briefing Monday in Abuja. He said within this extended phase, there will also be a safe re-opening of schools to allow graduating students back to classes, while interstate movements would only take place outside curfew hours. Announcing the new measures, the SGF said; “I am pleased to inform you that Mr. President has carefully considered the 5th Interim Report of the PTF and has accordingly approved that, with the exception of some modifications to be expatiated upon later, the Phase Two of the eased lockdown be extended by another four weeks with effect from Tuesday, June 30, 2020, through Midnight of Monday, 27 July 2020. “Specifically, however, the following measures shall either remain in place or come into effect: Maintaining the current phase of the national response for another four weeks in line with modifications to be expatriated by the National Coordinator; Permission of movement across State borders only outside curfew hours with effect from 1st July 2020; Enforcement of laws around non-pharmaceutical interventions by States, in particular, the use of face masks in public places; Safe re-opening of schools to allow students in graduating classes resume in-person in preparation for examinations and; Safe reopening of domestic aviation services as soon as practicable”. Covid-19 Notification Now On Your Smartphone.

Using the COVID-19 exposure notifications system on your Android phone

You can be notified if you've been exposed to someone who reported having COVID-19 by turning on exposure notifications. If you change your mind, you can turn it off.

To use the system, you will need to download your public health authority's app.

If you have COVID-19, you may share that info with the app to help alert people that you've been in contact with.

If you've been exposed to someone who has shared that they have COVID-19, the app will notify you and give you further instructions.

What you need to get started
Download an app from your region's government public health authority.

To find out if an app is available, check with your government.

Turn on your phone's Bluetooth. Learn how to turn on Bluetooth.

Turn on your phone's location setting. Learn how to turn on location.

The system uses this to scan for Bluetooth signals

The system does not collect or track your location.

How exposure notifications work
When you turn on exposure notifications within an app from your region's government public health authority, your phone shares random IDs with other nearby phones that also have turned on the exposure notifications system.

Throughout the day, your phone and the phones around you exchange random IDs. When your phone detects a random ID from another device, it records and stores the ID.

If someone reports having COVID-19 and their ID is stored on your phone, the app will notify you of the next steps to take.

How the app may determine exposure
The government public health authority determines which factors might indicate exposure.

If the app learns that you've come into contact with someone who reports themselves as having COVID-19, the system shares with the app:

The day that the contact happened.
How long the contact lasted.
The Bluetooth signal strength of that contact.
The public health authority app is not allowed to use your phone's location.

The exposure notifications system itself does not use your location or share other users’ identities with the app, Google or Apple.

If you have COVID-19
In the public health app, you may report yourself as having COVID-19.

The app may ask you to share your random IDs.

This helps the public health authority to notify others.
The app may then check if your random IDs are stored on other people's devices. It may alert others who came into contact with you. Those other people won't know your identity.
How the exposure notification system protects your privacy
You decide if and when to share your data.

All of the exposure notification matching happens on your device, which means that only you and your app know if you report having COVID-19 or been exposed to someone who has reported having COVID-19. Your identity is never shared with other users, Apple or Google.
When you download a public health authority app, you can opt in to use exposure notifications.
If you have COVID-19, you can choose to share your random IDs with the app.
To help prevent tracking, your phone's random ID changes every 10–20 minutes.

Your phone only stores random IDs from the last 14 days.
The public health authority app is not allowed to use your phone's location or track your location in the background.
Only official public health authority apps can use the system.
Turn off exposure notifications
Delete your exposure history
If you were exposed to someone who reported having COVID-19

Let's know if this is helpful?

THE TALKING DRUM IS GONE BY Saliu Adekunle AFRICA

I find it hard to talk all because the talking drum is gone.

We lost generational Leader, Senator Bayo Osinowo

A Pillar to many big wigs & a philanthropy to all

He led Leaders & bred Leaders

I walk in the streets and I see Paper moving all because the talking drum is gone.

Haaaaaaaa, INKAN TÍ ṒE WÁ

ỌMỌ OSINOWO is gone

The Political WALKING QURAN is gone

The JESUS follower is gone

The Prophet that brings revelation from Asiwaju's house is gone.

I felt as if all is gone but alas, don't rely on me, Pepper's Admonition

Your words motivates...

Your words gives us reasons to move on...

Your words tells us never to relent...

And I've made a bold decision that I'll stand up for Pepper

Pepper's immortalization is sacrosanct

Because for me, PEPPER LIVES ON

Which of the blessing of your Lord will you deny? (in Pepper's voice)

This Man has fought a war which he gave us a platform to thrive

Though, no time is best known with death but we ordinary wished it wasn't supposed to be NOW

Pepper neutralized this in the circulated Video while admonishing the plenary that we signed no agreement before our creation so as no agreement as per when will Angel of Death is to come.

He gave us the only antidote to death is good deeds but we do not take cognizance of it months ago.

And I repeat,
Which of the blessing of your Lord will you deny? (in Pepper's voice)

I was privilege to sit with him in his Senate office. While discussing aftermath of 2019 Election which leads us to 2023 preparation. He interjected and said "Allah owns 2023, let's pray for me to finish this first"

I don't understand but it was understood yesterday

For indeed, WE'VE LOST A HERO

I'm happy because HE'S A LIVING HERO

Whose words will radiate in our heart always

Whose humility is second to non

Whose generosity was his birthright

Whose talking to all known & unknown was his hubby

Whose solving peoples problem was his benchmark

*DEATH IS TOO REAL TO BE TAKEN WITH LEVITY*

In truth, HOW PREPARE ARE YOU❓

Smile...

I've read series of article and claims that some rode the same leadership ladder with Pepper. 😁😁😁

Words after his journey of NO RETURN

I'm not astonished though all because we know there history.

Meeting with Pepper will definitely return you back to your Lord.

The stabilizer is gone😒
The Peace maker is gone😒
The one that command respect is gone😒
The Pillar is gone😒
Shehu is gone😒

How to bear this Loss is still incomprehensible to me but Pepper said its Allah.

I take solace in the words of Pepper

I rely on Allah solely

And I believe he has given us a platform to thrive

This is the Man that believes in #YOUTHAGENDA

I ask with a sincere heart, "HOW MANY OF YOU CAN GIVE US YOUR NAME FREE OF CHARGE❓

PEPPER gave it to me "USE MY NAME ANYWHERE YOU FIND YOURSELF ON GOOD MISSION & I'LL FOLLOW YOU TO DEFEND IT"

Hmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Erin wo!!!

Will you STAND UP FOR PEPPER❓

I, Saliu Adekunle AFRICA stands up for Pepper.

SOMOLU NYCN UPDATE REJOINDER

*REJOINDER

*

*National Youth Council Of Nigeria (N.Y.C.N), Somolu Local Chapter:*

_On the groundless allegations against *Hon. Afolabi Ayodele,* the Chief of Staff to the Executive Chairman of Somolu Local Government, of aiding thugs to pull off the Official Inauguration of Somolu NYCN Executives by the Lagos State NYCN Transition Committee on Monday June 22nd, 2020._

To start with, the allegations in it entirety as avowed by Awotunbo Aremu was nothing but false and subterfuge.

*Hon. Afolabi Ayodele* came to the Local Govt. Banquet Hall minutes after the inauguration commenced. He was there representing the Executive Chairman, Hon. Abdul Hamed Salau who was not available.

He was never in any form, aided by thugs. Abel Gideon from HURMA who was present in the Council, including available workers can all bear witness to this fact, because it's an official sitting with the Lagos State Transition Committee in charge of the programme.

*Abel Gideon* was the one who gave the precise location of the *Chief Of Staff, Hon. Ayodele Afolabi* when he was still at Adedoyin Street before the commencement of the inauguration.

The whole fallout and francas was ignited as a result of Comrade Abiodun Martins misconduct. Martins came in minutes after the programme had started with Kola A/Kabir from MKAN and Abel Gideon, a loyalist of Supervisory Councillor for Agric, Hon. Wale Oseni, while other Youth Members from different Organization had sitted patiently.

The first thing Martins did was to shout angrily at the participants, requesting them to vacate the hall, they don't have anything doing in the hall.  His behavior at that point in time was unexpected and rude, but none of the members reacted, which clearly indicated they came from a honorable and well-trained home and organization.

His next inertia was to oscillate down to the high table, where the transition committee consist of Comrade Odunuga, Comrade Gbadebo, Comrade Qudus and Comrade Alex seated along with Prince Adeeso, who happened to be the former Vice President of NYCN Southwest.

The Chief of Staff, Hon. Ayodele Afolabi came in next to join them on the high table. Martins show no regard for any of them as he continues to splash words in cacophonous to these set of people without conducting himself in an appropriate manner.

Fortunately for him, the Chairman of the Committee gave him the privilege to spill out his comments and same privilege was given to Kola A/Kabir from MKAN.

Martins, where he was standing was almost stepping on the Chief of staff, Hon. Afolabi where he seated. Martins was cautioned but refuse to sit.

In response to his comments, Comrade Odunuga reproached him on how to conduct himself better in case of next time in an official settings. Comrade Odunuga shared the history of NYCN where he and Martins Leader who dare not stand tall to him' had served in good times.

He told Martins he has no constitutional right to stop the inaugural programme because they came at an appropriate time since the LG have fulfilled all necessary demands required to stage the inauguration.

Comrade Odunuga while holding the Constitution Booklet, said if Martins claims were to be received and worked on, he will have to write a petition to the State Transition Committee, not by rudely waging insignificant war of words with them during the course of the  programme.

The inauguration was about to continue, but Martins was chorusing and  interrupting Comrade Odunuga. Comrade Odunuga told the *Chief of Staff, Hon. Ayodele* that he needed Security Personnels to swing actions as Martins behavior kept fusing and provocating among others.

*The Chief of Staff, Hon. Ayodele* left the hall to call the Security Personnels and came in with them to speak to Martins in a pleasant way, but Martins was insisting he won't leave.

While moving backward towards them, he purposely stepped on the foot of one of the security personnels. That was how the little fray started. Before he was taken out, Awotunbo Aremu with Sherifat Adefiran locked the door of the hall, but somebody was able to open the door with force and questioned their decision to have locked the door, which they denied.

The security personnels took Martins out of the hall and apprised him to avoid troubles of all sorts. And advised him to write the petition has outlined by Comrade Odunuga, with respect to the NYCN Constitution.

When he was at Council Entrance, he pleaded to the security personnels of his naughtiness at the programme. If not for the *Chief Of Staff, Hon. Ayodele Afolabi* who intervened, perhaps Martins would have implicated himself more as the former Nycn Secretary, for threatening the lives of other members sitted during the programme.

The inauguration was later conducted peacefully. As all attendees were set to leave the c6ouncil, Onipanu Police Officers arrived with two buses, asking what transpired, they collected two inaugurated executives certificates and held to their station.

Not knowing, it was Aremu Awotunbo who gave them muddled informations that people have turn the council to fight-stage and maimed themselves nearly to death.

While at the station, the police officers asked Aremu Awotunbo to rephrase his words, but he couldn't and was quivering, denying in front of the exact police officer he reported to.

As Aremu kept calling the same Martins he falsely reported was beaten up and taken to Hospital, the DPO realized his deception and detained him.

They requested to see Martins before taking legal actions, but fortunately for the executives held in their custody, Martins came without any bruises or wound on his body, which proves Aremu Awotunbo deceits.

The Chief of Staff, Hon. Ayodele Afolabi called the DPO and explained in details what occured at the programme, requesting for Aremu Awotunbo's release with the executive's certificate which is currently with them.

The two executives and aremu were later released in presence of Prince Adeeso and the progressive party's woman leader, Hon. Abiola Fashoro, and witnessed by other members of the organization that attended the inauguration programme.

The false accusations ascribed to the Chief Of Staff, Hon. Afolabi Ayodele was fabricated by *Abiodun Martins and Aremu Awotunbo* in order to tarnish the image of the Chairman.

Legal Actions will be taken immediately.

Thanks.

SOMOLU LOCAL GOVERNMENT YOUTH COUNCIL INAUGURATION SAGA

A CASE STUDY TO THE BLOT & TRICKY-GAME OF ADEWALE OSENI AND MR AROGUNDADE

THE FULL STORY IN DETAILS

Evil men will always be evil men, no matter how hard you press easy on them. It's good to be vigilant of who will trust these days.

Adewale Oseni, the supervisor for agric & Arogundade, Head of Department of Agric are both a disgrace to the entire youth in somolu local government over how they kept exploiting their positions to deprive the youth of their prerogatives.

The lingering issues of the youth council in somolu emanated from their ends since outset.

These two treacherous men were the ones who rose the hungry beast in Abiodun Martins, former Youth Council Secretary whose executive's tenure elapsed several years ago.

In the middle of 2019, Abiodun Martins connived with Onikoyi Wasiu, his blossom friend who know not a dime about the youth council, to act as an illegal ELECO Chairman and persuaded different youth organizations to purchase forms in secret.

Later that year, their secrets were exposed to the public over the blunder they committed by invalidating part of the contestants in favor of theirs. After their unconstitutional actions, several stakeholders interfered, they were able to calm the nerves and restore normalcy.

The Lagos State Executives then, led by Comrade Gbenga Ogunsola inaugurated a legitimate Caretaker Committee to oversee the amour of the youth council, but to the greatest surprise of all, Abiodun Martins, Adewale Oseni, Arogundade, including the over-aged Amodu Babatunde from Bariga Local Development Area plotted against them to influenced their removal.

Few months after, a decisive reconciliation meeting was called among all those involved.  At the meeting, nomination was made for CPC and ELECO Committees, in which Amodu Babatunde became the CPC Chairman and Basheer Martins became the ELECO Chairman.

All aspirants purchased forms worth of #3000 and paid additional #500 for registration of their individual organizations. This smooth process went on for months, before the CPC Chairman, Amodu Babatunde furtively initiated a meeting and voted out the entire 5 nominated ELECO committee which was headed by Basheer Martins. He didn't stop there, but proceeded to nominate different people for the same ELECO Committee.

As at then, many premeditated that the wrongful step by Amodu Babatunde was borne out of envy he had for Basheer Martins as the favorite of Bariga LCDA Chairman, Hon. Alabi Kolade David. He laid him off in order to achieve his devilish objectives as colluded with Martins Abiodun.

Unfortunately for them, their instinct didn't push them luck, because all the Stakeholders at the State and National were following their licentious moves.

The gangsterism of Amodu Babatunde couldn't pull him off the unprincipled radar, as he went ahead to instal a single faction of his and conducted an election on a Sunday evening, which none of the State Representatives were present at. How can a sensible youth behave in such manner?

As a shameful over-aged Bariga Youth Coordinator that he claimed to be, he ordered his errand boy, Aremu Michael to paste the statistical results of their 'Kangaroo Election' they had on all social media platforms.

Reactions were expected from the people they hurted badly, but they couldn't take in none. Because it was believed those innocent people knew the election he conducted only with his factions was not in line with the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria.

When he realized he had overstepped his boundaries, steady nods were signalled to the Super for Agric, Adewale Oseni and HOD Agric, Arogundade to call upon the newly-elected Lagos State ELECO Chairman, Comrade Ismaeel for unauthorized adjustments in favor of Aare Abdul Fattah Ajibola.

Comrade Ismaeel in his first downfall of deeds, all because of little-change expected in return, came to somolu local government to constitute an unconstitutional and unofficial harmonization for contestants which includes 15 executives with inclusion of unknown posts in favor Aare Abdul Fattah Ajibola who they assumed as the secretary by depriving Comrade Kola Kabiru of the secretary post he contested for during the electioneering mode.

The Coordinator, Fasasi was also compelled to take 3 executive members, while Ajibola was given 10 unconditionally. Who does that in youth council without the knowledge of all contestants?

Comrade Ismaeel proceeded to assuring Aare Abdul Fattah Ajibola who is a newbie in youth council that he will make sure he emerge as the Lagos State NYCN Chairman. Unfortunately for Comrade Ismaeel, the whole promises he made was revealed before he could even get back to other State Committee Members.

Since then, Aare Abdul Fattah Ajibola has been a snake in a green grass going to different stakeholders to reveal the promises Comrade Ismaeel insure to him, at the same time crushing others to mud.

As a result, he wrote a letter & signed by him only, to the somolu local government chairman, Hon Abdul-Hammed Salau that he should choose their excos for them. A suicide attempt made by him to betray his other unconstitutional executive's trust as their illegal secretary.

What a cunny human being, too over-ambitious. He didn't end it there, but extends his dire indecency to pressurized his coordinator to sign his recommendation letter, where he purposely omitted the post is vying for at the state. Infact he signed as a secretary on the recommendation letter and tried in tarnishing the coordinator's image to different stakeholders within Lagos East. Another blunder! But why?

As a good fortune for the 9 New set of somolu executives who were all inaugurated by the Lagos State Transition Committee as stated by the NYCN Constitution, an official and signed paper by Super for agric, Adewale Oseni was tendered to them, to ratify he was aware of the inauguration they came to conduct on Monday, June 22 2020.

On that inaugural day, the oppobrious Arogundade, Oseni and Martins Abiodun had reached an agreement to disrupt the inauguration process.

It was learnt that martins abiodun visited certain people in the the council before the novice martins played his normal hooligans role known of him since Unilag days and threatened both the members and State Executives while in the process of the inauguration later that day.

He also vouched false allegations against them but indicted himself. Meanwhile, it was the same Martins who acted as MC at the Bariga LCDA NYCN Inauguration without any of the State Representatives. An unconstitutional inauguration which comprised more than the 9 executives approved by the state committee.

The Transition Committee Chairman, Odunuga asked why somolu won't hold, he replied by asserting himself as a factor in denial of the inauguration awareness.

Without delay, he was cautioned due to his tone ofbad words splashing on the committee, while the Chief of staff, Hon. Ayodele was sitting. Odunuga accused him with the averment of MC role he played in bariga illegal inauguration which they weren't aware of.

With this scandalous behavior he displayed with his brothers, Amodu Babatunde and Taiwo Lawal, they have created a legal avenue for the State Committee to petition the Algon National Chairman, Hon Alabi David over his approval for the llegal inauguration conducted in his lcda.

At the somolu inauguration, Martins Abiodun pushed on with his trifling attitude to make sure the inauguration was not done, in order to buy the conscience of the State Committee for inclusion of another set of names.

That move from Abiodun Martins was detestable and saw the LSTC Chairman, Comrade Odunuga to call upon the Chief of Staff, Hon. Afolabi Ayodele who represented the chairman at the inauguration ceremony for security officials to handle matters amicably before things get cold.

As Martins continued to insult them persistently, the council security officials came in to address him as a noble man, but he refused to leave the premises and turn in a fight with one of the elderly council official, before it escalated. During that process, he asked to leave, which he did and inauguration continues after then.

Regardless of his loathsome actions, the inauguration process was conducted constitutionally. But the super for agric, Adewale Oseni and Arogundade of Agric department left the council premises and asked Aremu Michael to call for help at onipanu police station, which he did.

They arrested some of the executives, but aremu repudiated that he didn't called them, immediately one of the police officers said it to his face that he' was the boy who came to report the issues and was detained for giving false informations.

At the police station, all matters was settled and those arrested were released, since there is no iota of proof as professed by Aremu Micahel who did the dirty job for Oseni and Arogundade.

Adewale Oseni and Arogundade are not building the youth, but destroying the youth. They should summoned for questioning as soon as possible. This lingering youth council matter must be resolve for all parties to be in light mood.

Written Petition against Somolu NYCN by ABIODUN MARTINS

The Chairman,
Electoral Committee,
NYCN Lagos State Chapter
24th June, 2020.

Dear Sir,

Petition Against the illegal & unconstitutional inauguration of unknown entity among executives members of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Somolu Local Chapter by Political Jobbers and NYCN State Transition Committee.

It is highly disappointing to the youth community that affiliates of an institution that are charge with upholding justice and fairness and use it as a yardstick to groom and develop responsible and trainable youth within the grassroot level are falling short in the  duties and responsibility to a population that constitute 60% of youth.

The incidence that erupted during the ill-fated and hypocritical inauguration of executive of the NYCN Somolu Local branch was not only a disgrace to the youth of Somolu but to all Elders that perpetrated one evil act or the other that day, in any proceeding globally point of order are always raise when there is an aberration but that was not followed as all individuals present are combat ready to have their way regardless of whose ox is gored but posterity they say would definitely judge everybody for their act in due course. Political jobbers that loiters hopelessly around the Local government secretariat and looking for any means as a source of survival, use state powers within their means to illegally and criminally substitute the name of NYCN harmonized executives list and expect that aberration to go on without any point of order raised.

The ever vibrant former University of Lagos Student Union Government President and immediate past Somolu NYCN General Secretary Cum Coordinator Comr. Martins Abdur-rafi Abiodunraised point of order on the substituted names and his well articulated point of order was met with violent conduct by The Chief of Staff to the Local Government Chairman Hon. Ayodele Afolabiin a manner that deeply denigrate his person and the office he represent, under his watch and instructions boys numbering up to four attacked Comr. Martins and for several minutes abuse him physically, in the presence of the State transiton Committee led by Comrade Odunuga Gbenga and State Congress Planning Chairman Comr. Gbadebo Taofiq, and one hopeless political jobber “come and rade” Mikhail Adeeso and Afeez Raheem (Afeezco). The ex SUG boss was later released after Hon. Akins the Supervisor for health caution the Chief of Staff of his action as it might lead to loss of life of the helpless *Comr. Martins*, after several plea by people Comr. Martins was carried and dump outside the Local government secretariat by paid thugs in a very embarrassing manner within a government secretariat what a world! What an Impunity!

Recall, The NYCN Somolu Local branch has begun its transition program immediately *Comr. Martins Abiodun* felt he has stabilized the Youth Council after the existence of *Comr. Bola Balogun* in search of greener pasture in far-away United Arab Emirate. This process begins in late 2018 and due to a whole lots of interest from political jobbers who wanted to infiltrate the Youth Council at all cost and have a front to get feeds for themselves and their families, using and abusing the Office of the able Chairman of the Local a move that many feelers in the Local government were aware of, as they want to be in any groups that are either related or not related to Politics, forgetting that the National Youth Council of Nigeria became a recognize entity by a decree in 1990 and was registered as a non-political and non-partisan group and the council is independent of the Local government at the Local branch, of the state government at the state level and of the Federal government at the National level .

In late 2019, the NYCN Somolu Local branch had its election which was well structured as all aspirant were screened and eventually set to be voted for but on Election Day Comr. Musa and his group fear been defeated openly and boycotted the election and the election process was conducted and new executives emerge after the aspirants had fulfilled all constitutional requirement.

The list of the new executives were sent to the department of Agric and Social services to follow due process and fulfil constitutional requirement, but these political jobber with no known means of livelihood felt a chance to have a means of survival for themselves and their families have been taken away and would cut corners to have it using political interference which is against the ways of Youth council at all level to achieve their aim another aberration and another rounds of hustling begins as the Chairman fail to acknowledge the list due to influence of people that have no value, honour neither integrity preying on the largesse of his good office.

A peace meeting was summoned on the 26th day of March 2020 by the amiable Chairman of thr Local government through the office of the Supervisor for Agric and Social Service *Hon. Wale Oseni*. *Comr. Abdulfatai Ajibola Are and the bittered Comr. Fasasi Musa* were both summoned to the Chairman office and an harmonization was achieved at the instance of the Local government Chairman and Comr. Are Abdulfatai been a Comrade with the heart to serve felt service to humanitt can be felt in any capacity not really as Head of a team have to bow to the request of the Council Manager, *Otunba Lai Giwa and Head of Dept. Agric and Social Service Dept. Mr. Segun Arogundade and the Coordinator was given to Comr. Fasasi Musa while Comr. Abdulfatai settle for General Secretary with Musa providing the Assistance General Secretary and Abdulfatai* providing the Deputy Coordinator.

A group photography was taken by the *Chief Press Secretary* of the Chairman *Mr. Oseni Owolabi and was uploaded with press release later that evening at 23:08the  GMT on *Somolu Third Eye* with Comr. Musa seen physically happy with the harmonization as he have been given a position he lost through popular vote but gained through political power

Pic II.The Proof of *Mr. Oseni Owolabi* on press release on Somolu Third Eye on the evening of 26th March, 2020 the Chairman Chief Press Secretary

On the 26th of May 2020 the eecutives of the Youth Council paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman at his Magodo residence and thank him greatly for harmonizing the youth faction and bringing lasting solution to the NYCN Somolu Local branch. The Chairman accepted the executives warmly and promise to always do more for the youth via the NYCN at the  local level with 13 member of the fifteen harmonized list present in the meeting with the Chairman. Immediately after the meeting the *Assistance Chief Press Secretary of the Chairman Badaru Wasiu use both his Facebook social media and Somolu Third Eye WhatsApp group page to acknowledge the presence and legibility of the executive of the youth council in Somolu after the harmonization*
*Check Pics* III A and B & Pics IV A, B, C and D. The proof of Badaru Wasiu Alias Ijebu Chemist press release on both WhatsApp and Facebook at exactly 6:43pm on 26th May 2020 (Facebook) and 6::57pm 26th May, 2020.

On the 27th of May, 2020. The executive of the youth council have a crucial meeting in the local government secretariat with a project of creating a nose-mask to cushion the spread of the rampaging COVID-19 global pandemic and Comrade Kausara Olaleye, Comr. Adefiran Sherifah and Comr. Aloku Raphael were pen to facilitate the project and they all delivered on time but since the Coordinator took charge of the delivered nose-mask he has remain incommunicado since, and not replying  all messages sent to him via several platform and have been playing hide and seek not until we started hearing rumour of hatch plans of names of executive that have partake in the whole process for almost two years were been substituted by this political jobbers that hide under religion pretending as saint to destroy and steal peoples mandate creating enmity and division among the youth of Somolu but what did you expect from a former tricycle operator that is amazing several questionable academic qualification.

To the illegality of the inauguration of June 22nd 2020, The former tricycle operator claimed the constitution permit only 9 executive I wonder where he got his own NYCN Constitution but according to the Constitution of the National Youth Council of Nigeria as amended *Article 10.9* states clearly the composition  and function of the Local executive Council that it shall comprises of eleven (11) members which are
1. Coordinator
2. Deputy Coordinator
3. Secretary
4. Assistant Secretary
5. Public Relations officer
6. Assistant Publicity Secretary
7. Treasurer
8. Financial Secretary
9. Social Secretary
10. Legal Adviser
11. Auditor

While the constitution went further to state in *Article 10.6*  The role of Ex officio that this shall be the Immediate Past Chairman of the council and this where the vibrant Comrade Martins Abiodun Abdur-rafi comes in as the former Coordinator after being unanimously appointed to serve in that regards at one of the general meetings  and his role shall be solely in advisory capacity, so I wonder where the ill-educated Afeez Raheem saw and read his own constitution, well maybe it his village constitution
So looking at the portfolio that the money hungry state executive came to inaugurate it is crystal enough to know it is highly and disappointingly unconstitutional in several ways.

1. The criminal substitution of names without due consultation and following constitutional requirement when those elected have been acting in different capacity as Elected officers.

2. The disappointing show of shame by the Chief of Staff to the Chairman of Somolu LGA *Mr. Ayodele  Afolabi* against the vibrant former SUG  President of University of Lagos and Immediate past NYCN Somolu Local Chapter Coordinator in person of Comrade Martins Abdur-rafi aided by thugs within a government facility brought shame to the four corner and the entirety of people having their daily business within the LGA but an animal in human clothing would remain an animal.

3. Lastly the Mudir (Adeeso Mikail) that was present in a gathering when humanbeing like him was subjected to ridicule would only incur the wrath of Allah SWT when people call him Mudir and he answers such title would  as Allah as said in the glorious Quran that he would ask all leaders to give account of their Stewardship on each of their subjects Subhanallahi!!!

Finally we would want all concerned citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and all relevant authority to help and salvage the NYCN Somolu LGA Chapter from Political jobbers that are looking for avenue to milk unnecessary resources from Nigerians that have plans for the Youth of Somolu. The youth of Somolu at this point remain resolute as ever to fight and resist all forms of intimidation, brutality and oppression from known and unknown forces. Victory only cometh by Struggle.
