Patriotic somolites should note that the operation of PSP operators within each ward will be on hold as the dumping site at Olushosun  is currently under two days repair.

Using thick, black bags, as they can carry significantly more weight than the flimsy counterparts with less chance of tearing or breaking. 

Residences should use  outdoor bags as they are typically more sturdy than indoor ones and will hold up better during movement.

According to Sanitarian Ogunbekun H.O. the Head of  Department (H.OD) Environment in Somolu, don’t pack anything sharp or breakable in a waste bag that could potentially poke through the plastic. 

In addition to tearing the bag, it could also be a safety issue. Don’t pack anything breakable in a garbage bag either, since you don’t get the support in a bag that you’d get in a Lawma plastic.

The listed items are not to be packed these items in a waste  bag:

Sharp items, including knives and objects that just have sharp corners and other inherently heavy items Glass, porcelain, ceramic, and any other fragile materials Unsecured liquids

and any hazardous or flammable materials.
