SOMOL LGA BOSS BEWAIL ON RESIDENT ACTIVITIES WITH CANALS

ENCOURAGE  FULL PARTICIPATION WITH THE PSP TRUCKS

Somolu LGA boss said that the residents of fadipe, Debari, Igabri and Bajulaye should be stopped with their attitude of  dumping refuses into the canal around them and must protect it from all forms which could perennial on climate change.

The Executive Chairman Hon. Abdulhameed Salawu, who stated this on conclusion of the world ocean day which is celebrated every year, an attempt not to protect it could affect us negatively.

A resident Mr, Odukoya Olanrenwaju who live down at Fadipe street affirm that mothers do sent their male child at the early hour of the day to dump refuse at the canal especially during raining hours. 

Somolu Local Government under the Environmental body of the State Government T.H.E.M.E.S. Development Agenda has implemented several programmes and policies to incite with the federal environmental protection act.

Part of the department activities on field includes  regular cleaning and inspiration, Treatment Plant, Recycling and also continuous sensitisation of the public on the need to package and dispose their waste properly.

He encourage everyone to support the led administration by reducing pollutants and disposing of herbicides and pesticides properly to continue to enjoy the goodness.

According to the Supervisor for Environment, Somolu local government, Hon. Muse Bakare, residents must respect the environmental law and be a patriotic and respective citizen at all time.

The leader of the National youth council, Somolu,  Comrade Fasasi musa put Environmental involvement on record, that they have been up and running by liaising with the department of environment and water when need be to make Somolu a house for all.

My Working with the PSP Operators from Richbol Environmental service to sentence keen and proficient etc. had justify their day to day services activities within the community with the swift evacuation activities 

Somolu residencce enjoying this services should not relent in prompt payment as at when due.
